Internship Scholarships
This page provides information about scholarships for student interns. This is by no means a definitive list of opportunities, but it does help identify scholarships that are designed to help students with internships or can be used to support internships. It is hoped that this list will grow over time.
MTSU Damien Bell Scholarship Award
Damien Bell was an Audio Production major who tragically passed away on his way home from his internship. This scholarship as established by his family and friends to honor his memory.
Application Requirements:
1. Must be an African-American student
2. Must be a full-time Recording Industry major admitted to candidacy
3. Must be eligible for the internship program now or by the next term
Application Procedure:
Submit a typed, one-page letter of application, addressed to the Department Chair, stating your desire to be considered for this scholarship award, where you will be interning (if you know at this time), and your current career goals. Please include information concerning your financial needs. (Financial need will be a consideration.)
If awarded the scholarship, the student will be asked to acknowledge the award by writing a not of thanks to Mrs. Bell. The winner will be announced at the Awards Ceremony and the award will be given one the internship application and enrollment in the class is complete.
